DASCO® QUENCH LBA 15 is a high-speed quenching oil.
- Designed to provide the highest hardness of steel with minimum distortion.
- Used in all applications where highest cooling rates must be applied in order to achieve highest possible hardness of the quenched parts.
- Ideal rates of quenching along with great uniformity of hardness
- Reduced sensitivity to variable agitation effects
- Low drag-out losses
- Particularly useful when complete physicals must be obtained from parts in tightly packed baskets, where oil circulation is impaired
- High flash point minimizes fire risk and smoke formation
- High speed of cooling and short duration of both vapor blanket stage and vapor transport cooling stage assures maximum transformation of the Austenitic steel to the Martensitic form
